Overview

Studio Verre needed a site that felt as considered as the interiors the studio designs. Most interior design sites either lean too commercial, all stock photography and generic copy, or too minimal to the point of feeling empty. Neither was right here. The goal was for a visitor to land on the page and immediately understand the studio's point of view before reading a single line of text, the same way a well designed room communicates before anyone explains it.

Design & Details

The palette, warm white and deep charcoal text, was chosen to let the photography carry the weight, mirroring the restraint the studio brings to its own work. Typography pairs an elegant high contrast serif for headlines with a clean sans for body copy, so the site reads as considered rather than decorative. Page transitions and scroll reveals were built to feel unhurried, nothing snaps into place, everything settles. Every image was placed with the same intention a designer would bring to hanging art in a client's home.

Mobile

Most people researching a design studio are doing it from their phone, often mid-scroll through inspiration rather than sitting down to browse. The mobile version was rebuilt with that in mind. Photography still carries full impact, type stays legible at every size, and the journal and portfolio sections reflow cleanly rather than compressing into something cramped. The site feels the same whether it's held in one hand or open on a desktop.
